Event Details

Toronto Architecture Tours (TAT) were successfully launched in 2010 with two guided walking tours: “Toronto’s Cultural Renaissance-Buildings of the 21st Century”, and “Skyscrapers of the Financial District”. TAT continues to be the only architecture focused tours in Toronto offered on a regularly scheduled basis.

This year, three tours are being offered: “Art and Performance”, “Culture and Campus” and “Towers”. From June 4th to September 25th, tours will be offered three to four times per week and available for groups “on-demand” by contacting walk@torontoarchitecturetours.com .

TSA Members are invited to attend a discounted one-hour, customized version of our “Culture and Campus” walking tour featuring notable buildings on the St. George Campus of the University of Toronto.  The tour will be followed by a pub night at the Bedford Academy, 36 Prince Arthur Avenue .

CAMPUS TOUR | The University of Toronto has undergone expansion and revitalization with dramatic new buildings constructed in recent years.  Join us as we explore some of the contemporary additions to the St. George campus including the Bahen Centre for Information Technology, the Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research, and the Leslie L. Dan Pharmacy Building.

TSA members are encouraged to reserve a spot early, as the tour capacity is limited.

DATE | 10-Aug, 6:00 pm “rain or shine”

TICKETS | $10 - TSA Members only

Hosted By

Toronto Society of Architects

Established in 1887, the Toronto Society of Architects (TSA) is a non-profit volunteer-based organization comprised of architects, professionals from sister organizations, and members of the community that are interested in architecture and urban issues. The TSA is the local Chapter of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), which is the licensing and regulatory body that governs the practice of architecture in Ontario.

The TSA plays an advocacy role in the City, ensuring that architecture and design are key considerations in public discussions and in processes that have an impact on our urban environment.

The TSA organizes and sponsors a wide variety of initiatives including exhibitions, tours,  publications, competitions, forums, film series and celebrations that engage the architectural profession, its sister disciplines, and the public. An elected Executive, comprised of volunteers, undertakes and directs these initiatives throughout the year. We strive to promote and advance the role of architecture and design in Toronto’s dynamic community.

Membership in the TSA is open to all with an interest in Toronto architecture and urban issues.  Please consider joining!
